Samantha got me started painting pet portraits. She was my darling girl for 10 years and when she passed on I dealt with the grief by painting her portrait. That was when I realized this is something others might wish for as well.
A Shih-tsu/Pekingnese, Samantha was like a peachy confection and so sweet and loving. I feel I captured ‘the look’ she could give which said “you WILL pick me up now”.
