Sulphur Crested Umbrella Cockatoo
The Garuda Aviary is a lifelong sanctuary for abused and neglected parrots, for which I was a volunteer when it was located in Sedona, AZ. The parrots are incredibly intelligent and emotionally bonding with the flock and humans. This was one of four paintings I donated to their Holiday Auction to raise funds to maintain these birds for their entire lives.
